EYFS Tours
We run regular tours for parents to view our Early years provision. This will give you an opportunity to meet staff, see the provision in action and ask any questions you may have.
To book a tour, please email us at office@chattenden.medway.sch.uk or call us on 01634 250861. If there is a lot of interest over a short period of time, we may offer group tours. Please be advised that each tour has a maximum capacity of 10 adults, when contacting the school office to book to book your place, please include the contact details of all adults that will be attending (name, phone number & email address).
Key dates for Primary School Admissions September 2025
- Primary school application opens: Monday 2nd September 2024
- Primary school application closes (national closing date): 5pm on Wednesday 15th January 2025
- Offers sent to parents and carers (national offer date): Wednesday 16th April 2025
- Places must be accepted/refused and requests to go on a waiting list and appeals must be submitted by Wednesday 14th May 2025
- Re-allocation of available places begins on Monday 10th June 2024
- Re-allocation of available places ends on Tuesday 31st December 2025

Year R Appeals
Are you unhappy with your offer of a school place? Follow the guidance from Medway Council below.
The deadline for submitting an appeal is Wednesday 14 May 2025 for offers made on Wednesday 16th April 2025
If your child is due to start Primary school in September 2025, you can appeal if you are refused a place at one of your preferred schools on National Offer Day (Wednesday, 16 April 2025).
You need to submit your appeal before Wednesday 14th May 2025 for it to be considered by Wednesday 16th July 2025. Any appeals received after this time will be heard within 40 school days from the deadline, or where reasonably possible in line with updated guidance from the Department for Education.
For late applications, appeals should be heard within 40 school days from the deadline for lodging appeals where possible, or within 30 school days of the appeal being lodged where reasonably possible in line with updated guidance from the Department for Education.

If you would like your child to attend our school, please email us at office@chattenden.medway.sch.uk or call us on 01634 250861. We will arrange a meeting with the Principal, who will take you on a guided tour of our schools and answer any questions you may have.
