Medway Foodbank

Times can be tight at any time, but particularly coming up to this time of year and with the National Cost of Living Crisis looming. At Chattenden we are able to support families with Medway Foodbank e-vouchers. If this is something that you feel could help you, please ask to speak to Mrs Carpenter or Miss Coppin in confidence

 

OASIS

Medway Citizens Advice Bureau

Medway Citizens Advice Bureau can help with a variety of issues. Contact them on 01634 383760 or drop into the offices at 3rd Floor Kingsley House, 37-39 Balmoral Road, Gillingham ME7 4PF

 

Strood Community Shop

Strood Community Shop offers advice on budgeting, financing and debt. They hold regular meetings to combat social isolation such as monthly ‘knit and natter’ sessions and their community café. Second hand/nearly new uniform for Chattenden can also be purchased in the shop. Contact them on 01634 719382 or drop in at 60-68 High Street, Strood ME2 4AR

 

The Sunlight Centre

The Sunlight Centre provides support for individuals and families. There is a Wellbeing Café where you can eat and speak to someone if needed. There is a men’s mental health group, ‘Men in Sheds’, plus lots of other supportive services. Contact them on 01634 581511 or go to their website www.sunlighttrust.org.uk
