Our Science Vision:

Through our thought-provoking, hands-on curriculum, children at Chattenden will collaborate, question and explore, in order to become confident scientific thinkers.

At Chattenden, our shared science vision is the basis for all of our teaching and learning.  We believe that science at Chattenden is good when children:

We are extremely proud to have recently achieved the ‘Primary Science Quality Mark’.  We believe that all children, regardless of class, gender, ethnicity, or disability, are entitled to access the excitement and discovery of science.  We embrace the importance of links with our wider community, ensuring that each and every child is able to develop and build on their science capital.
