Chattenden Primary School

PSHE

Personal, Social, Health and Economic education at Chattenden follows the PSHE Association scheme of work. Our PSHE Curriculum aims to support children in developing key life skills including the knowledge, understanding, attitudes and values in order to reach their full potential as individuals within the school and wider communities. Through their PSHE learning, pupils are also encouraged to reflect upon the Fundamental British Values and explore why these values are important in becoming a well-rounded citizen.

Within PSHE, children take part in a range of activities which explore each class’s termly question. These questions are based upon the 3 key areas within PSHE; Relationships, Health and Wellbeing, and Living in the Wider World. These key areas allow children to develop their spiritual, moral, social and cultural understanding of themselves and the world around them.
